Our weekend was full(er) than usual. We went away last minute to celebrate the very blessed life of my husband's uncle. He was such a kind man with a big heart, and his family was his ultimate legacy. He should be so proud to have been blessed with a beautiful wife, loving children, caring daughter-in-law/son-in-laws, and several gorgeous grandchildren. Uncle will be greatly missed, yet always remembered and never forgotten.
With the passing of a loved one, we are reminded of our own frailty and what is truly important in life. I truly wish that everyone experiences real love, true happiness, and a family bond. It's the simple things in life that really matter and mean the most.
