Although the construction portion of our family room renovation is still in process, I have been thinking ahead to the fun part... furnishing and decorating the room! One of the main furniture pieces that I'm on the hunt for is a new sofa.
A home furnishings and decor store that I often browse online is Dot & Bo. Have you heard of it? It is not a mainstream retailer, but it's a popular outlet for those drawn to mid-century modern design. Dot & Bo brings "inspired design for the modern lifestyle".
When I was browsing their website recently, I came across a sofa option that I hadn't initially considered - sofa beds! We will likely not be going that route, but I thought I'd share these sofa beds with you, because honestly, they don't look like "traditional" sofa beds.
Don't they look like hybrid sofa-futons? They look like regular sofas, but have the functionality of a sleeper futon. No bulky mattresses to pull out! These sleeper sofas are perfect for tighter spaces because of their streamlined design. I could see it in multi-tasking rooms too, like a guest bedroom/home office.
Have a great weekend (and Friday the 13th)! We'll be busy trying to knock off several items on our family room "to do" list. This DIY remodel is taking forever, but I'm sure it will feel even more rewarding when we cross that finish line!
