How is it that we are already in the middle of July?! My boys are halfway through their summer break! It's been so nice to see them relaxing and having FUN this summer. After all, it's what kids are supposed to do! We've actually engaged in a good portion of the activities that we listed for our summer goals. You can catch up on what we've been up to here:
Ever since the kids were babies, it's been our tradition to go on at least two vacations every year: our annual spring break getaway and summer trip. We feel that travel helps expose the boys to new experiences and places/cultures (especially now that they are getting older), so it's something we prioritize. It's also an opportunity to reconnect as a family without the distractions of our daily routines. Plus, we all just love to travel - whether it be by airplane, ship, or car!
This summer, we are escaping to the mountains and lake. The following "mountain retreat" designs were inspired by these natural landscapes... and injected with a dash of "rustic luxe".
