I seem to have a thing for chairs lately. I specifically find myself window shopping for accent chairs. Perhaps it's because our house is lacking of seating (and furniture in general). I'm drawn to accent chairs because they are versatile. You can easily move them around, and they provide practical seating. I also prefer an eclectic grouping of chairs, rather than pairing the same chairs together. It's visually much more interesting!
I am patiently (anxiously) awaiting the day (year) when our home renovations are "done", so the fun process of furnishing our home can begin. In the meantime, I am getting my "fix" by admiring this eclectic mix of chairs...
Tip: When vintage, flea, or thrift shopping for furniture, focus on the structure, lines, and "bones" of the piece. Sofas and chairs can easily be reupholstered.
