Hi folks! Today, I'm taking you on a tour of one of the coolest townhomes located in NYC. It is the home of husband and wife design team, Robert and Cortney Novogratz, and their seven children... 7 gorgeous children!!! Robert and Cortney are extremely imaginative and vibrant individuals, and they bring their unique style and talent to everything they touch. The spaces they design are usually infused with color and always include some element of "quirkiness", which I love!
Let's take a look at some of the rooms in the home. (Note: Because the townhome is currently listed for sale, it was "stripped" down a bit for prospective buyers.)
Gorgeous! I really love: 1) the wood flooring throughout the house, 2) all the natural light that flows inside through the floor-to-ceiling windows, 3) the integration of different materials like wood, steel, and glass for a warm modern feel, and 4) the tall ceilings. The furnishings and accessories are colorful and vibrant, and also a mix of modern and bohemian. And they certainly weren't afraid to make a whimsical statement with the ceiling lighting fixtures and certain furniture pieces! Did you see that big, black "chair" in the master bedroom?! Of course, every home needs an elevator and indoor basketball court too... It can all be yours for $22.5 million. :)
